Estimate US insulation, wall, drywall and tile materials before you buy
Calcrete's US section provides material calculators built around square feet, inches, pounds and American package sizes. It currently covers batt insulation, drywall framing, plaster and stucco work, plus thinset and tile mortar, with more tools added only when their US material profiles are ready.
US insulation, drywall, wall and tile calculators
The batt insulation calculator estimates batts and whole bags from square feet and US package sizes. The drywall and metal stud calculator estimates panels, studs, track, screws, tape and mud for a partition. The plaster, stucco and joint compound calculator estimates pounds and whole bags, while the thinset calculator uses square-foot coverage for common US notched trowels.
Why the US page is separate
Feet and pounds are only half the difference. Product names, normal coat thicknesses and package sizes change by market too. A separate US page lets the defaults and worked examples match what a US buyer actually sees at a supplier while the underlying formula stays shared.
FAQ
Are the US estimates manufacturer-specific?expand_more
No. The profiles are representative starting points based on published US product data. Enter the rate, coverage and package weight from the exact product you intend to buy before ordering.
Why are some Calcrete tools not listed here yet?expand_more
A useful US calculator needs local materials as well as local units. Tools are added to this section only after US grades, formats, package sizes and terminology have been prepared.
